Academic Integrity

Academic integrity is taken quite seriously at ɬÀï·¬ÏÂÔØ and by the dean and faculty of the School of Theology and Ministry, in particular.Ìý CSTM abides by the University policy on academic integrity to be found inÌý.Ìý The roles and responsibilities of students, faculty, and deans with regard to promoting academic integrity can also be found inÌýthe University Graduate Catalog.Ìý CSTM students are strongly encouraged to become familiar with these policies and procedures, as they are held responsible for this knowledge.Ìý Students with questions regarding what constitutes a violation of ɬÀï·¬ÏÂÔØ’s Academic Integrity Policy, especially with regard to specific courses and assignments, are invited and encouraged to ask these questions of their professors and the Associate Dean for Academic Affairs.

TMST7081: Writing and Research for Theology and Ministry

Usually offered every semester during the academic year, this course uses students’ writing assignments from other courses to teach the student how best to approach the various kinds of writing assignments most commonly given by CSTM faculty: theological reflection papers, research papers, weekly readings-based papers, etc. It also can help students prepare for larger projects such as theses and synthesis projects. This course is useful both for ESL students as well as students wanting to master writing skills in theology on a graduate level.
