Profile

In 1990, Sr. Guider joined the faculty of Weston Jesuit School of Theology in Cambridge, Massachusetts and in 2008, she became a member of the ecclesiastical faculty of the Clough School of Theology and Ministry at 涩里番下载. Working in the area of Systematic Theology, her teaching and research interests focus primarily on ecclesiology and missiology. Currently, she is working on a book length manuscript entitled With Hearts Broken Open: U.S. Franciscan Missionaries in Latin America, the Caribbean and Africa (1879-2019). She also serves as the Faculty Coordinator for Forma莽茫o Continuada. Sr. Guider is the former president of the Association of Professors of Mission as well the American Society of Missiology. She has served as an advisor and consultant for numerous religious institutes and missionary societies as well as a trustee and board member for a variety of Catholic institutions and organizations. Sr. Guider is a member of the Sisters of St. Francis of Mary Immaculate (Joliet, IL).
