Jennifer Roman-Martin

Profile

Jennifer Roman-Martin, LICSW, is a clinical social worker with expertise in the treatment of complex trauma across the lifespan. She has provided trauma treatment and expert testimony for asylum seekers and survivors of human trafficking in the U.S. and internationally. She worked cross-culturally in international mental health program implementation with marginalized communities including sub-Saharan Africa, south east Asia and the Caribbean.

She previously served as the Program Coordinator for Project REACH, a psychological response to human trafficking program of The Trauma Center at Justice Resource Institute (JRI).

She currently provides program coordination for The National Center on Child Trafficking through Georgia State University, clinical services for the Massachusetts Justice and Equity for Child Trauma Project at JRI, and consultation for the US DOS TIP Office's Expert Network.

Ms. Roman-Martin integrates her specialized training EMDR, Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, TF-CBT, ARC, and PCIT into her clinical practice. Ms. Roman-Martin is a 2013 graduate of the ɬÀï·¬ÏÂÔØ School of Social Work, Global Practice Concentration.
