- The Murray Graduate Center
The Murray Graduate Student Center (MGC) was established in 1997 to provide a facility dedicated to graduate students in their pursuit of academic excellence at ɬÀï·¬ÏÂÔØ. One of only a handful of graduate student centers around the country, the Murray Center produces a number of programs for graduate students, offers a number of services and amenities and provides academic, social, computer, student organization and casual meeting space and opportunities.
- The Apprenticeship in College Teaching
Graduate students in Romance Languages and Literatures are invited to participate in ɬÀï·¬ÏÂÔØ’s new Apprenticeship in College Teaching Program. The program coordinates and formalizes efforts that have long been under way in departments and in the university to prepare graduate students for teaching at ɬÀï·¬ÏÂÔØ and in their future careers. By combining these efforts, the Apprenticeship Program provides graduate students with a framework within which they can deliberately plan their development as teaching scholars. Students who complete the program will receive a letter from the Office of the Provost for inclusion in their teaching portfolios.
