To educate our community on federal and state regulations, ɬÀï·¬ÏÂÔØ has partnered with Vector Solutions to offer online training on Title IX and preventing workplace harassment and discrimination, starting in January 2025.

- All new employees must complete within 45 days of employment per federal regulations. In alignment with the institutional mission of advancing a safe and welcoming campus environment, all employees are strongly encouraged to complete Title IX/VAWA/Discriminatory Harassment training annually unless otherwise specified.
- Anyone listed as an active ɬÀï·¬ÏÂÔØ employee is encouraged to take either a Title IX Harassment prevention full training course or a refresher course. This includes full-time faculty, part-time faculty, full-time staff, part-time staff, volunteers, and non-ɬÀï·¬ÏÂÔØ student employees. Â
- Graduate and undergraduate student employees may receive invitations to complete the training if their department requests.Â
- All new employees must complete it within 45 days of employment.Â
- Employees on leave or Emeritus faculty are not required to complete this online training.
- If you are a new employee or have never completed the online Title IX training on the previous platform, you will receive an invitation to complete the full Title IX course, Preventing Harassment & Discrimination: Supervisors + Clery Act and Title IX.
- If you completed the online Title IX training on the previous platform more than one year ago, you will receive the invitation to complete the refresher course, Building Supportive Communities: Taking Action.
- Only one course will appear on your dashboard.
- Starting January 2025, ɬÀï·¬ÏÂÔØ partnered with Vector Solution online learning platform to administer this online training. You can access the training via the link below, then log in with your ɬÀï·¬ÏÂÔØ credentials.
- The full course, Preventing Harassment & Discrimination: Supervisors + Clery Act and Title IX, will take approximately 90 minutes to complete. While your invitation email states that the course will take 235 minutes, this is the maximum estimated time, and most participants complete it in much less time.
- The refresher course, Building Supportive Communities: Taking Action, will take approximately 30 minutes to complete. While your invitation email states that the course will take 1 hour, this is the maximum estimated time, and most participants complete it in much less time.
- Your invitation email will include the due date for completing the training.Â
- The full course's due date is 45 days from the initial assignment.
- The refresher course's due date is 60 days from when it is first assigned to you.Â
- If you have challenges completing the training before it’s due, we are not able to manually adjust the due date for the training, and you will receive automated reminders until you finish the course.
- Check your inbox; the training invitation should be sent from the Office for Institutional Diversity (diversity@bc.edu) and the email title should be ɬÀï·¬ÏÂÔØ Online Title IX/VAWA/Discriminatory Harassment Training.
- If you have completed the online Title IX training on the previous platform within the past 365 days, you will receive an invitation for the refresher course one year after the completion.
- If you have any technical questions about accessing the training, such as a page frozen, browser not working, content not loading, or a link broken, please contact the Vector Solutions Customer Care team directly by submitting a case at the link below or by emailing support.education@vectorsolutions.com.
