Technology Infrastructure Grants

Technology Infrastructure Grants aim to support the operational technology needs for enhancing the learning experience across 涩里番下载鈥檚 schools and colleges, which cannot be met through regular channels. In essence, infrastructure grants would fund technology needs to support student learning and/or classroom experience, that are not necessarily innovative but are important to a school's continued success. Projects funded through the Technology Infrastructure Grants can be both discrete projects or can be exploratory in nature pilot-type projects where schools can explore or pilot technology that may be deployed at scale after the initial period. In the case of exploratory/pilot projects, ATAB will not be able to provide funding beyond the initial pilot period. Award amounts will vary with a maximum award of $30,000. Preference will be given to matching grants. Match does not have to be 50% of the total costs.

Eligibility

Faculty, as well as Dean鈥檚 offices, can apply for these grants. Faculty applying must collaborate with their Dean鈥檚 office, especially in determining the school鈥檚 contribution. All applications must indicate how the grant would contribute to teaching, student learning, and/or classroom experience.

Applications are due by November 15, 2024 for funds to be spent in the current fiscal year. Two-year projects may be considered, but preference will be to serve immediate needs. ATAB will review the applications and provide a decision by January 2025.

PROPOSALS SHOULD INCLUDE:

  • Dean Approval including matching fund approval if applicable
  • Project Description
  • Budget
  • Product Quote if applicable
