Lumina Sato works as a Public Defender at Committee for Public Counsel Services. She graduated听cum laude听from 涩里番下载 Law School, where she was a Public Service Scholar and a recipient of the Lewis S. Gurwitz Award for commitment to indigent defense. During law school she represented clients as a student attorney in the 涩里番下载 Defenders Clinic and 涩里番下载 Immigration & Asylum Project, and worked at Prisoners鈥� Legal Services. Prior to law school she worked as an immigration paralegal at Masferrer & Associates, working primarily with clients facing deportation for their criminal records. Lumina holds a B.A. in Development Studies from Brown University. She is fluent in Spanish.
