Realities and Challenges for the Accompaniment of Migrants and Refugees听in Latin听America and the Caribbean is a seminar series that discusses the findings of a research project听sponsored by the Jesuit Network with Migrants in Latin America and the Caribbean. During three听days, these seminars will discuss topics related to Diversity, Inclusion, and Accompaniment of听Migrants and Refugees in Latin America; the relationship between Policy and Practices of听Accompaniment in Latin American countries; and the need for interdisciplinary approaches to听develop accompaniment practices with migrants and refugees.听

This seminar discusses the profiles and needs of migrants and refugees in three different countries in Latin America. The discussion offers a reflection on the perceptions of host communities regarding the presence of migrants and refugees and practices of hospitality and the challenges of integration.

Human Rights in Practice: The Tension between Policy and Practices of Accompaniment
