Megan's areas of specialty include Arab and Muslim American plays and performances, feminist theatre, and musical theatre. Megan has presented papers at various national and regional conferences, and she is currently working on her first book, tentatively titled Resistance and Revision Through Performance: Arab and Muslim American Theatre After 9/11. Her work has been published in听Studies in Musical Theatre,听Theatre Journal,听and听Journal of Dramatic Theory and Criticism.
Megan has also taught courses at Tufts University, Northeastern University, and Pine Manor College.听She has worked at the Roundabout Theatre Company and the American Repertory Theater, and was an assistant agent in the Theatre Department of the William Morris Agency (now WME) in New York.
