Natalya Shnitser is an associate professor andÌýDavid and Pamela Donohue Faculty Fellow at ɬÀï·¬ÏÂÔØ Law School. Her research focuses on retirement security in the United States, including the provision of retirement and healthcare benefits by private and public employers, the governance of multiple-employerÌýplans, and the regulation of financial intermediaries. She teaches courses in corporations, employee benefits law, fiduciary obligations and the law, and regulation and markets.ÌýShe has served as Chair of the AALS Section on Employee Benefits and Executive Compensation, and as the organizer of theÌýAnnual Conference on Employee Benefits and Social Insurance.Ìý
Upon starting at ɬÀï·¬ÏÂÔØ Law School, Shnitser was named as the inaugural David and Pamela Donohue Assistant Professor in Business Law. Prior to joining the faculty, she was an associate research scholar in law and the John R. Raben/Sullivan & Cromwell Executive Director of the Yale Law School Center for the Study of Corporate Law. Prior to her time there, she was an associate in the New York office of Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton.Ìý
Shnitser received her J.D. from Yale University, where she was a Coker Fellow, the editor of the Yale Law Journal, and the editor-in-chief of the Yale Journal on Regulation. She is a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of Stanford University, where she received an M.A. in international policy studies and a B.A. in economics.
