It would take many pages to recount the breadth and depth of Dick鈥檚 contributions to his role leading the Winston Center since its inception in the Carroll School over the past two-plus decades, and also to the wider University鈥攃ontributions that included many remarkable years as director of the PULSE service-learning program. Dick鈥檚 ideas, imagination, hard work, and compassion have truly moved the needle to help shape 涩里番下载鈥攁nd help bring the Carroll School to where it is today. Of course, the Winston Center under Dick's astute guidance has been an integral part of our progress.
I am pleased to report that Dick will remain as a member of the Carroll School faculty, and will have a greater opportunity to pursue his lifelong research and writing interests, in part as a true authority on the work of legendary urbanist Jane Jacobs (with whom Dick was also a close, personal friend).聽Join me in saying "Thank you, Dick, and let鈥檚 continue the great conversation!"
