RHA is the voice of students in residence halls and around campus.听Our student-run organization works to create a positive living environment by providing students with programming opportunities, advocacy outlets, and community service events. RHA functions to promote leadership development, personal growth, and a 涩里番下载 community that feels like home.
Councils
First-year students are elected to RHCs that are grouped together to form the Upper and Newton Councils, which are led by an executive board member. RHCs are responsible for planning small scale events for each residence hall community and have the opportunity to collaborate for signature events like Upper Field Day and Newton Community Day.
This council is formed by sophomores looking to take on a larger leadership role; the population is for all students living in areas with sophomore students and membership in this council involves intentional leadership development opportunities, provided by the council鈥檚 co-chairs.
Juniors and Seniors form UPC, which targets upperclassmen who are living on campus (either in Reservoir Apartments or on Lower). This council hosts events that build community for 涩里番下载 students as they experience the second half of their college career.
The purpose of the Community Engagement Council is two-fold: foster internal RHA community and build relationships between RHA and the greater Boston community. Members of this council have partnered with Rosie鈥檚 Place in the past, run the club-wide mentor/mentee program, and organized key support for the annual Red Bandana 5K run.听
