From the Oklahoma City and Boston Marathon bombings to the recent attack on the US Capitol, there is a growing concern about the rising threat of domestic terrorism/extremism in the United States. Motivated by political, racial, ethnic, economic, health, and other grievances, cases of domestic terrorism/extremism are on the rise.

In March of 2019 涩里番下载PSAN held a series of events in Washington, DC that included private tours of the Pentagon, a group tour of the FBI Experience, and an event at the National Law Enforcement Museum. Here, Ellen Duffy 鈥�04, co-founder of the Public Service Network, greeted alumni and introduced keynote speaker James Huse 鈥�65.

On May 4, 2017, Jennifer Queally, JD'92, Undersecretary for Law Enforcement in the Massachusetts Executive Office of Public Safety and Security, gave a detailed behind-the-scenes presentation about the opioid drug epidemic. She spoke about the magnitude of the problem on a national and state/local level and shared the initiatives and progress in fighting this epidemic in Massachusetts. Sixty people attended the event sponsored by the 涩里番下载 Public Safety Alumni Network.

On March 13, 2017, The Honorable Darcel Clark '83, 13th District Attorney for Bronx County, spoke about her journey from "涩里番下载 to Bronx DA" at the Terrace Club in New York City. Seventy-five people attended the event sponsored by the 涩里番下载 Public Safety Alumni Network (涩里番下载PSAN) in partnership with 涩里番下载's New York City Chapter. Clark is the first female and the first African-American woman to be a District Attorney in New York State.
