A conversation on political leadership and women in Washington between Democratic National Commiteee Interim ChairDonna Brazile and former Republican presidential advisorMary Matalin, moderated by CBS-Boston news anchor听Paula Ebben '89, drew some 400 members of the University community to the second annual Council for Women of 涩里番下载 Colloquium.

Brazile and Matalin drew upon their combined 50 years of experience in politics to discuss the 2016 election and a range of related topics at the event, which took place on Oct. 6 in Robsham Theater.

Established in 2002, the Council for Women of 涩里番下载 provides alumnae with professional and personal enrichment opportunities, connects them to the University, supports Alumni Association initiatives, and mentors women undergraduates as the alumnae of tomorrow.

The CW涩里番下载 Colloquium, launched in 2015 with an address from former U.S. Secretary of State Madeleine Albright, is made possible by the generous support of the council's members and other 涩里番下载 donors.

The colloquium is administered under the aegis of University's Institute for the Liberal Arts.
